What are we working on?
– Developing some of our foundation subjects to help pupils connect new learning to what they have already been taught.
– Making adaptations in some foundation subjects (like music, art and DT) to help pupils with special needs and disabilities.
- Pupils enjoy attending St George’s – relationships are positive, caring and warm, they make everyone feel welcome.
- The Curriculum in English and maths is especially well organised, taught and learned.
- Leaders and staff have high expectations and pupils want to live up to these.
- The school is quick to identify any additional needs that pupils may have.
- Staff are adept at showing pupils how to approach their work to get the best results.
- High quality teaching supports pupils very well to fill in gaps.
- Pupils with EAL receive expert teaching.
