Admissions
If you would like your child to attend St George’s, you will be invited to tour the school and get to know all about school life here. An induction programme for your child will also be arranged at this time.
If you would like to visit The Quay with view to your child attending you should first contact our SENCO through 02392822886 explaining that you are a prospective parent, we can then advise on next steps – admission to The Quay is only through specialist panel and children must have an EHCP.
Our admissions procedures are in accordance with Portsmouth City Council Admission Policy. A copy of this policy is available from the school office or the link below. As a church school we will consider children outside of the catchment but with religious convictions. For further advice please contact the school office.

Application forms for admissions, from Reception through to Year 6, can be obtained from Portsmouth Local Authority, Civic Offices, Guildhall Square, Portsmouth. The admissions team process admissions: starting school, mid year applications, moving into the area and those changing schools. The school can accept pupils directly only when the year group has 10% free capacity. Where the classes are full a waiting list is held by the Local Authority. Children will be admitted to Reception in the academic year when they are five.
