A group of Year 5 and 6 children began an after school project in May and June 2017, which looked in to how a local theatre changed during WW1. The children worked with Kat Henderson from The Kings and Dan Musty from Millstream Productions to research and develop a set of questions to ask a range of experts in this field. They practised interview techniques, screen shots and lighting, to reflect the documentary genre. On Wednesday 12th July the whole of Year 5 and 6 were invited to The Kings Theatre and the film makers were given VIP seats to watch the performance of ‘A Theatre At War’.
